CLASS DESCRIPTION
KIDS YOGA
In this special 4-week series, kids will learn yoga postures and practice balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility in a fun and relaxing environment! We will be exploring creativity and movement through yoga-inspired games, adventures, group poses, art and music! Each class ends with relaxation & breath work to cultivate stillness and a sense of well-being.
Class size is limite d to 10 students. Advance registration is required.

SURF'S UP, DUDE! We’ll explore ocean sports, the seaside, and underwater animals of the deep blue sea!
3, 2, 1…BLAST OFF! As we zoom to the moon in our rocket ship, our journey takes us into the stars to examine the constellations, the sun & planets, and zero gravity!
LET’S JOIN THE CIRCUS! Step right up! … and enter a world of jugglers, tightrope walkers, acrobats and talented circus animals!
YOGA OLYMPICS Children try group and individual yoga postures to represent the unity and events of the Olympic games.

CLASS ETIQUETTE
ONLY A LIGHT SNACK BEF If you practice yoga on a full stomach, you might experience cramps or nausea, especially in twists and deep forward bends. The process of digestion can also sap your energy and make you feel lethargic.
NO FOOD OR DRINK IN CLASS Water in a sealed water bottle is permitted.
WEAR COMFORTABLE, SEMI-FITTED EXERCISE CLOTHING like bike shorts or leggings with a tank top or t-shirt. Girls, some yoga poses require an upside-down or wide-legged position. Please do not wear skirts or short shorts in which you may feel self-conscious in these positions.
ARRIVE EARLY For the first class, please arrive a few minutes early to complete the registration process.
TURN OFF CELL PHONE If you would like to stay and observe your child during class, please be sure to switch off your phone to minimize distraction.
STAY UNTIL THE END OF CLASS Yoga is a holistic practice. Exercise brings blood flow away from organs to skeletal muscles. Relaxation brings blood flow back to the organs. Final relaxation and integration are important for healing, balance, and equilibrium.
