Relax and allow your stress to melt away. Breathe deeply and feel your body let go of tension. This 90-minute gentle, Kripalu-style yoga class is designed to facilitate total relaxation - leaving you feeling restored, rejuvenated, and renewed.
Kripalu yoga emphasizes body awareness and turning inward. Taught as a multi-level class, practitioners are encouraged to go at their own pace, listening to and honoring their body, coming into and out of poses as needed. Modifications and variations are given to allow practitioners to choose their level of challenge and ease for the day. No need to be fit, flexible, or have prior yoga experience.
Classes begin with a brief centering, breathing & setting of an intention, moving into some warm-ups followed by a posture sequence, and ending with soothing guided relaxation, lavender aromatherapy (optional), and a gentle shoulder press, neck, and head massage (all optional).
